Project One: Private Residence, St. John’s, NL
This complete landscape installation project included construction of dry laid natural stone walls, patios and steps. It also included installation of landscape lighting and construction of wooden fences and a custom bench. Finally, soil, plants and mulch were installed. This project was the winner of the Landscape Newfoundland and Labrador Award of Excellence for Residential Landscape Construction in 2016.
Project Two: Private Residence, St. John’s, NL
This complete landscape design and installation project included construction of a custom tiered deck and patio system. It also included the installation of modular block raised planting beds, and the installation of the plants and mulch. The construction of the custom shed was also included.
Project Three: Private Residence, Paradise, NL
This project included the design of the entire front of the property. After an intricate planting plan was created, Murray’s supplied and installed all of the planting beds, plant material, and mulch.
Project Four: Private Residence, St. John’s, NL
This project was quite interesting, as it involved the installation of a custom artificial turf field in a residential backyard. The project also included the installation of an array of planting areas.
Project Five: Private Residence, St. Philips, NL
This project involved the construction of an intricate set of modular block steps and walkways that created a grand entrance to the house.
Project Six: Sheraton Hotel Indoor Courtyard, St. John’s, NL
This interior plantscape was originally installed by Murray’s in 1982. Since then, Murray’s interior plant care team have continued to maintain the plants and garden. It is truly a focal point within the hotel, and the courtyard continues to be applauded for it’s beauty. This project was the winner of the Landscape Newfoundland and Labrador Award of Excellence for Commercial Maintenance in 2016.
Project Seven: Commonwealth War Graves, St. John’s, NL
This is an ongoing maintenance project where Murray’s maintains the planting areas around the graves.
Project Eight: Long Term Care Facility, St. John’s, NL
This project was a large-scale construction project that saw the installation of multiple gardens, planting areas, a rooftop patio, and playground. It was the winner of the Landscape Newfoundland and Labrador Award of Excellence for Commercial Construction in 2015.
